Macaws!! Theyy actually speak! But the word in their vocabulary is probably "Hello" 'cause thats the only thing I ever heard them saying. 

BIRDS

Just something that we saw. It was not at all afraid of the tourists.  

Tree Of Life

Thats the "Tree Of Life". It can be seen from all over Animal Kingdom. Narrow passages all around the Tree and you get to see animals in small enclosures along the paths. It feels as if you are adventuring somewhee in Africa. It would have been a better experience if the tree had actually been real. Its basically made of concrete and plastic.

ANIMAL KINGDOM

Thats the line at the entrance of Animal Kingdom. We already had our e-tickets so we just had to collect our passes from the counter. Saved us quite some time. Also due to the recession the crowds were extremely less. We had to wait a maximum of 50 minutes for a ride that too only for 1 or 2 rides. Apparently the usual waiting time is far greater than that. We never found any need to use the Fast-Pass.

Going Back

Waitinbg for the shuttle back to Fantasy World Resorts. We all were really exhausted!!! And the new Adidas sneakers were giving me a hell of a shoe bite.

MardiGras

MardiGras at Universal Studios that starts in the evening. We would have stayed but our shuttle was to come at 7:00. Noway were we going to miss the shuttle. The taxis cost the sky here (and everywhere else). But we did get a preview of what it had in store.

The Woody Pecker ride. Nothing much really in terms of thrills but fun never-the-less. Daddy wouldn't join us on the ride. He was too scared!!

The Simpsons Ride - Simply Awesome!!

The Simpsons ride was awesome. One of the better ones that Ihave been to. It was basically a dome theatre. The seats were made such that they moved along with the action on the screen in such a way that it looked almost real! Shear drops, getting thrown off rollercoaters ... It was an experience!

Men in Black!!

Shuttle to Universal Studios

Thts me and Chande Uncle at the Fastasy World Resort waiting for the shuttle for Universal studios. Couldn't decide if it would be warm or cold ... so decided on my selveless sweater. Hoped it was better than Saint Louis.

Fantasy Resorts, Orlando,FL 7-3-09

Leaving our Villa the very first morning and headed for Universal Studios. The Villa was awesome. There was fully equiped kitchen, two bedrooms on the second floor, two bathrooms, a laundry machine and television with cable in every room. All we had paid for the whole trip was $350 per head ( excluding park tickets) and we were three people. In case you are wondering, this is Fantasy Resorts and we booked through travelocity.com. 

Plane to Orlando

On the plane to Orlando,FL. It was right on time. Definetely a pleasant change from what happens in India.

In another couple of hours I'll be in Orlando. Yahooo!!!

Thats me at the Saint Louis, MO airport right before we caught our flight to Orlando,FL. Universal Studios and Disney World awaited us there .....

Jamie Oliver !!!

Have a class today but don't really wanna miss Jamie Oliver's cooking show. I consider myself a foodie and Oliver's show is awesome!! Easy and staightforward cooking recipes and they are awesomely tasty. Trust me!

I really wanna catch "Jamie's Kitchen" but it doesn't get aired in India so the only possible way to see them is to download them from torrents. Thats gonna take a looong time with my slow connection.

Digital Designing tuitions

 Went to a Digital Designing tuition for the first time. It was actually quite interesting. Did not get bored at all. Never knew where the 3hrs flew away to and before long it was 9.30pm. I actually wanted Magar sir's classes, who I know is good, but to settle for Irfan sir cause Magar sir was too busy. 

Forced Mane, Yogesh and Swapnil to give party after the class as they have cleared all their subjects ( I have 1 kt left!! boowu!!) but everyone ended up contributing for the food which was "misal pav". Reached home at 11.00pm and had to pacify the parents for the same. No easy task that one... Tomarrow have Maths tuitions from 1.00pm till 5.30pm but hope to catch Jamie Oliver dish out his "extremely simple to make"  delicacies. 

College TODAY

Had traditional day today in college. Nothing really happened although a few students actually turned up in traditional clothes. Good for them. I had worn my trusty jeans and T's and had carried my traditional clothes along with me in case. There were no lectures so just had to come back home.

Also have finally started on my electronic project. Nothing fancy really. Just a Pressure Alarm using NE555 and MCT2E. Haven't tested the components yet cause they are not with me. The guy who bought them for me didn't turn up. Also bought a PCB and a couple of IC holders. I am also planning to build a FM transmitter if time permits.

BREAKING NEWS !!

Gooo Naruto!!
Naruto rips apart Pain's forbidden technique. Pain, my man, you should
just go home and cry your head off or something. You don't have a
single drop of self respect left in this world. The way things are
turning out, the real Pain will just drop dead from exhaustion.
Also in this chapter, Naruto gets to meet his dad face to face.

In related events, Ulquirra rips Ichigo's heart out and Ishida loses
his hand (and his life?) fighting him. Also Orihime messes up trying
to heal Ichigo (or does she?). Me say that we gonna see hollow Ichigo
or some new form of Ichigo wreaking havoc.

Can't wait for next week!

OLD FRIENDS

Met nandita today after a long time. Met her at the station when i was
coming home from college. She used to be a very close friend a long
time ago. She was like the cousin whom you always love visiting coz
you have so much fun with her. She taught me to play the card game
"UNO" and also treasure hunt.
We did not exactly get a lot of time to catch up but we did talk. She
does having problem keeping her mouth shut. All in all, she is a jolly
person.

RESULTS R OUT !!!

The results are out! And I have done quite well if I say so myself.
Only 1 kt! Yeah! I don't think that will be a problem. Also I have
ended up with 60%! Thats quite good. Most of my friends have 2 to 3
kts. Also there are friends who have scored above 70% but I intend to
do a hell lot better next time.

A little HI a little LOW !!

        Down with a severe cold which I ended up with almost over-night. Donno how I got it. Anti-biotics are what I have ended up taking. Nose blockage, sore throat, watery eyes and the heavy head probably won't go overnight ...... but the show must go on and tomorrow is a new day with a test on Digital Designing. Haven't even opened the book but hope to be ready by tomorrow. If not then I can always try copying ;) .

         On the brighter side of things, "Tech-Fest" is gonna start at our college. Its called "IMPULSE" and is being organised by the engineering batch of PIIT, New Panvel ( My College). We have a whole bunch of events from Robotics to fun stuff like TreasureHunt on the lines of the amazing race, Sodoku competition, LAN gaming with CS and fifa and many other events. Previously stated events are the only ones I know as I will be participating in them. This event takes place on the 3rd,4th,5th of february. Everyones invited!!!
